Recognition
Since 1977, the GARCÍA CABRERIZO FOUNDATION has been awarding the Medals of Honor for the Promotion of Invention, in recognition of the work of those individuals and/or legal entities that have stood out - in the opinion of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the Foundation and in accordance with its Statutes - in the promotion of the Spanish Invention. Traditionally, these Medals have been awarded in the Main Hall of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) with great attendance by the public and personalities from the scientific world.
